Tennis LIVE: Novak Djokovic sends message to Murray as umpire makes Italian Open star cry | Tennis | Sport

Jannik Sinner has thanked Jack Draper for his support over the past few months.

Sinner has just returned from a three-month doping suspension, during which Draper practiced with him and fought his corner in the media.

While others slammed Sinner, British tennis star Draper insisted he was a ‘geniuine’ person who ‘does not deserve any hate’.

Reflecting on that, Sinner said: “His support meant so much to me. And whoever supported me in this spirit, I really, really appreciate that. It was positive energy. I’ve always been a big fan of him.

“We are very similar as people. We are humble, we try to do our best on court and yeah of course, we are just very simple people.”
